Register - Become part of the Campaign
There are four categories of participation in this campaign. More information is required about you as you go from one category to the next in order to ensure that you can be most effective in that role.
Visitor
Information on this web site is available to all residents of the 2nd Assembly District. Visitors to the site do not need to provide any information to the campaign and can still participate by contacting their friends and family members,
downloading and filing a signature petition, spreading the reform message of the campaign, and encouraging others to come to this web site.
Friends must provide a minimum amount of information to register and participate: a valid email address, first name and residential zip code. In return, you can choose to be notified about announcements and events, and may post comments to this site. Today, there is no standard, secure method to confirm your identity; you may not be who you claim. However, this allows us to inform you about the campaign according to your stated wishes and enables site viewers to see when the same person provides input. It allows you to build a reputation on our campaign site.
Supporters must provide a little more information than Friends, your last name and a valid phone number. By providing a little more information we entrust you to hold local meetings or meet ups and permit you to both post to the site and review the posts of others.
To host a meeting, attendees will need to be able to reach you, so we need a working phone number. Supporters have the opportunity to post comments or summaries from their meetings and are requested to review comments submitted online by others. We encourage you to lead discussions of issues, raise concerns about this campaign, evaluate and score online comments, and periodically you will be asked to provide your opinions on specific campaign issues.
Organizers must provide the most personal information. We ask Organizers to arrange town hall meetings, which requires a large commitment on your part. In the classic campaign, this might be a paid position, but ours is an all-volunteer campaign. We need enough information about you to be confident that you can arrange the meeting successfully. In addition to the information required to be a Supporter, this form is like a mini-resume. We will contact all applicants as soon as possible, generally within 7 days of submission.
Privacy Policy
We respect personal privacy. We collect the minimum personal information necessary for you to effectively participate in the campaign. You can see from the descriptions of the categories of participation that as you choose to be more involved with the campaign, we will need more about information about you. Regardless of how much or how little personal information you provide to this campaign, it will never be used for any other purpose than to support this campaign or a term of office. It is possible that the campaign will not end after the November election. When the campaign does end, you will receive a final email indicating that your information has been deleted (unless your email is no longer valid at that time). Under no circumstances will your personal information be given, sold or traded to any individual, group, company or organization without your express permission.
