Brief Biography

Dr. Ozeran is a lifelong Californian. He moved his family to Sutter County in 1992 to provide routine and emergency surgical services to medically underserved Yuba and Sutter county residents. Over the last 16 years he has treated thousands of rural Californians. He is also a computer professional, advocate for healthcare reform, small business owner, and a dedicated husband and father.

In addition to treating patients in a part-time practice, Dr. Ozeran is also:

• Chair, Yuba Sutter Healthcare Council
• President, Yuba-Sutter-Colusa Medical Society
• Advisory Board Member, Cambridge Career College
• Member, Yuba Sutter Chamber of Commerce

A fiscal conservative in thought and deed, Dr. Ozeran shops and invests locally whenever possible. He is a recognized authority on healthcare reform, invited to speak before the PERS health benefits committee, on Congressman Ose's rural healthcare panel, and at many regional events. He has testified many times in our state capitol, before state senate and assembly commitees and the department of managed health care.
